I have been working at Kovarus full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Small company family atmosphere. Lots of transparency and great learning environment with high income potential as a fast growing Bay Area technology leader (#23 on Biz Times) . Management is easy to approach and welcomes feedback.

    Cons

Not much here. Small company is not able to offer 401k matching. Rest of benefits are great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keeping employees aware of long term corporate strategy is always appreciated. Best part of working for a small company is advice/recommendations are always listened to and open door policy is easy to adopt.

    Pros

Great talent. If you make it into this company, you are a pro.

    Cons

Imagine having 20 years of experience as a commercial pilot, then you're basically a stewardess. They just put you wherever they can make a buck. Flashy copy and paste documentation is more important than any work. You will never hear anyone thank you, apologize, or so much as acknowledge your hard work. Never volunteer for anything: If you succeed, there's zero reward. If you fail, you'll never hear the end of it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Break up the old boys club and grow up into a large organization before it's too late. You're just filled with bullies and infighting now. Thousands of consulting firms have been where you are. Seek out their advice. I'm not wrong.
