Feedback from management
Corporate Culture
working environment
open concept
Size of the company

Cons
Low salary for an MBA
Slow career progression
Relaxed environment (it can be a disadvantage for ambitious employees)
Far from downtown
Advice to Senior Management
In general leaders are effective, however the low salaries offered make hard for Kraft to retain top talent from the best business schools such as Rotman or Ivey
Pros
people are the best part and sometimes work/life. it really depends what function you work in. Pay is average but if youare in the right dept. one may be happy with that..
Cons
salaries are mediocre at best. Need to do an assessment by industry and function. Hard to believe that they are not doing that or are not aware of this issue
Advice to Senior Management
top tier performance requires top tier pay for ALL. We are like a big giant who really can't change direction but may be it is by operating truly as an independent unit can help us change for the better
Pros
Compensation and benefits were top notch.
Cons
Work life balance left a lot to be desired.
Pros
PLENTIFUL BENEFITS AND CAREER ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Cons
EXTREMELY STRUCTURED ORGANIZATION THATS SOMETIMES TOO CUMBERSOME TO NAVIGATE WITHOUT THE AID OF A SUPPORTIVE MENTOR.
Pros
the hours are flexible. No one is hovering you, so you can get your job done the quickest and most accurate way possible.
Cons
Some schedules work weekends and holidays. There is heavy lifting at times involved and pulling heavy merchandising carts. I really can not find many cons at all.
Advice to Senior Management
The workers and their supervisors should get the recognition they deserve. A lot of times hard work and ideas are not acknowledged by upper management.
Pros
Kraft culture is heavily tuned toward achieving an appropriate work-life balance. The people are very friendly and, generally, pleasant to work with on a daily basis. Kraft offers a great opportunity to work on some of the most beloved food brands in the World.
Cons
Kraft suffers from the downsides of many big companies. It is overloaded with processes, is extremely risk adverse, and, as a result, often very slow to respond to changes in the market. While there are a ton of really smart people at Kraft, the company loses a lot of talented people because the HR systems do a poor job of actively moving people throughout the organization.
Advice to Senior Management
The company should focus on providing more frequent job rotations for its employees, particularly at the more junior level. Over two years on junior level assignments (a common practice at Kraft) limits growth potential and reduces employee motivation.
Pros
the job and the people and the company it self
Cons
The work after you go home
Advice to Senior Management
Upper management needs to get in field more offer and see the exiperence the reps are having with the larger volume stores.
Pros
Convenient
Leading CPG company with good marketing training, People who care about what they do--not necessarity senior management
Cons
Aloof senior management, not accessible
Advice to Senior Management
Get to know junior level managers. More support and honest feedback
Pros
The company allows for a flexible work environment, and you get to work independently and in a team structure as well. There is a nice blend for growth opportunities in improving your skill set. Good company to use as a steping stone to a real career.
Cons
Management tends to demand results, but they do not like to put in the work themselves to get the results. Sales representatives are thrown under the bus more times than not. Promotions tend to come from gender and ethnical based decisions, this has been verified by senior management in private.
Advice to Senior Management
Offer better pay if you want to keep talented individuals.
