    Pros

Just the free doughnuts, I guess.

    Cons

This is a franchise and not a large factory. They will work you to death. Unrealistic expectations and extremely low pay. Be prepared to have no personal life.

    Advice to Management

Compensate the management team fairly and be realistic with what you're expecting from the business. The markets are different in each location.

    Pros

Great place to work if you like to eat and taste test doughnuts. They do offer continuing education classes. I really liked the team I was on. Great women who knew how do get the job done.

    Cons

Given a lot of busy work. I really didn't feel like I fit in. The finance department was almost entirely women and of course very competitive women. Good ole boy or gal network.

    Advice to Management

Onboard new employees better, give expectations on position, explain office environment.

I worked at Krispy Kreme full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great product with a quality commitment and focus.

    Cons

This as a factory store which required long days and nights working with precision production equipment which required constant calibration(s) and maintenance. Production "breakdowns" were common which would slow-down or stop the complete whole wholesale and retail business. Very stressful environment.

    Advice to Management

Don't let store(s) brand/image, quality-commitment languish because of failure to support the management team from making the necessary decisions to fix equipment/hiring needs immediately.

I worked at Krispy Kreme part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Weekly pay, 50% discount while off the clock, doughnuts free while on the clock, taught how to make different beverages and some coworkers.

    Cons

Hours and management. The assistant manager tried to accuse me of stealing $3 from my drawer. Then when I asked her to pull my drawer since I was getting off the clock she got a little attitude. I still don't like her till this very day. The GM's were barely there or descent managers. I only worked once, twice or three times a week for a few hours then went home. Only time I stayed overtime was when the GM asked me to or on KK's birthday.
