Pros

It's a great opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience, to enable the move to a much better job.
You are given the opportunity to learn every department and how things work. Lots of hands on learning due to the fact that there are no more than 4 people in the shop at any given time. The manager, owner and designer all need to be able to multi-task and do one another's jobs.
It's a great background for a career in print/design/advertising/marketing.

Cons

No sick days (even when the employee is sick with a fever of 102 and the doctor said to be in bed resting/sleeping)
vacation time extremely limited
No 401k
No FSA
No Medical insurance - no dental or Vision either
No direct deposit
No life insurance
Owner is very bull headed and uncooperative at times. He can be very difficult to talk to about certain things. His mannerisms can be harsh and cold.

Advice to Senior Management

Take care of your employees and they might actually hang around long term.
