Advice to Senior Management
Try to retain employees by providing them tangible appreciation.
Pros
1. Good Recognition --> Only for MALLUS and persons who are favouring Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and Senior Managers. (Note this. The designation Senior Project Managers and Senior Managers are different)
2. Very good in using pirated versions of softwares --> One good example is, No License for Oracle DB in UNIX machines
3. A bunch wonderful managers --> Highly innovative in their thought process. An example is:- A person who worked in Java for 5yrs is expected to work on Microsoft Technologies immediately within a week.
4. Your life is just colourful --> If you are a loyal dog to the persons above Project Managers, then your life is just wonderful. They will give you lot of onsites eventhough it doesnt make any revenue for the company. But if you are going to deny something then you have to stay in the same cadre for many years.
5. Cleaning the boots --> There are lot of persons who has been transformed as Project Leaders within 5Yrs of Industry experience.
6. There is a Team, that call themselves as HR. If you feel bored and want to hear some funny stuffs you can reach them. They will entertain you with their sensible answers.
7. Best Appraisal System --> Good rating for your accomplished tasks. But the pay scale wont be hiked unless you dont follow point number 5.
8. Mantra --> "All Resouces who are working below Project Leader (A13) are magicians/slaves".
9. Motto --> "Don't grow at any point of Time". They havent even crossed 10000 Employees.
Cons
1. A good Brand Name.
2. Lovable location Mysore.
3. You can enjoy the perquisites if you are a manager there.
4. Lots of petrol allowance. Money to get car. Also Driver allowance.

3) Escalations wont work, instead u will be in big trouble.
4) HR, Managers, Senior Managers works together they wont listen any words from the team members. If any one complained then their problems starts.
5) Appraisal meetings are for the name sake, but background the management run full politics. even though If u work 24/7 & executed project successfully, don't expect any promotions OR hike. Instead u may get shock news about ur performance.
6) Managers act as a postman, they are not for solving the project issues, they are just for forward emails to developers. So developer has to do solve the management issues as well as developing the project, it pains a lot. If u ask anything abt this then u r gone.

Cons
Compensation is indifferent to what you are working.
no appraisal based on performance, hence no one likes to do hard work after the initial years.
growth is directly proportional to the nepotism quotient and degree of your manager liking you not your work.
Time bound performance promotions
Advice to Senior Management
Look deeply into your workforce to knwo who is worth what.
Appraise people, and they in turn will enhance quality of results themselves. Please remember "NO ONE LIKES TO DO A BAD JOB AT WORK".
eliminate futile processes of quality, process improvement when people find it hard to spare out 30 minutes in the 10 hour daily schedule.
Distribute the work loaf appropriately so that everyone gets to learn essential qualities and this way company is better prepared to function in scenario where a critical resource wants to leave.
know that attrition is common and inevitable, if you do not pay and treat your valuable, hard working workforce deservedly.
