I have been working at L&T Infotech full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are starting out and ok with very low pay for many, many years, this place may work out for you. But get out, once you have learned something.

    Cons

They will outsource the jobs to India at the first opportunity. They pay very low or zero bonus. Reviews are a sham. They promote only folks who are brought in from India. Very little diversity. They need to become more professional in their management and services to client because of influx of folks from India who do have not adapted to the western corporate environment. Never cares about employees issues and troubles. lack of projects. Did I say they also pay cheap?

    Advice to Management

    Fix the cons above.

I have been working at L&T Infotech full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Medium sized company so good opportunities come across with less experience.

    Cons

Miserable compensation. No defined policies. Treat junior level employee as labor. Bond with every benefit so you are bound to serve otherwise you will loose experience letter.

    Advice to Management

Stop putting bond with everything. This makes employee think that they are bonded labor hence they will not work with full energy and dedication.

    Pros

As of today situation not recommended to work in SAP BU L&T Infotech. Overall Management issue & no new IT major projects coming. Lots of Resignation with senior people as well low salary

    Cons

As per grade level not placing in project. Senior guys also work as consultant work. No work definition allocated. Appraisal process not effective.

    Advice to Management

Improve HR Process Listen comments & feedback from Consultant who are facing onsite. Delivery manager & Practice manage should work effective.

    Pros

Not a good option to work while you plan to save something after coming to onsite, despite of all efforts and sacrifices made, they still want to suck the last drop of blood from you

    Cons

It's ridiculous while working onsite as you are treated as a slave and threat are repeated to send u back to India, this is always a key word to keep you silent and make you work more. Managers do not know anything of your work and you still are rated poor and justifications provided are as if they have been liking managements feet for your stay at onsite. Asking for a hike is like asking them their personal stuff for your use. Appraisal discussions never are given importance,

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees, motivation for us is by only concentrating on work and regular apprication from management though hike is the primary focus which may not be given importance.

    Pros

Got quite a lot of very good programmers Whatever you do they wont send you out of the company; be it creating a bug in production server which could create a loss of millions of dollars to the client or even crashing the whole production server. Even if you are not allocated to any project and have been on 'bench' right from the time you join the company, you might get promoted(if you are lucky enough) A good place to be if you have a very rich family to support you and if you dont care abour salary hikes

    Cons

    >The company doesnt care about customer satisfaction at all(See my first point under Pros). I have personally experienced this many times. Even if you are appreciated by the customer for your good work, the managers are least bothered about that. >The company is managed by morons from the parent company, who doesnt know the basics of Information Technology. They dont care about their customers( who are kings in IT). >The marketing team is very bad; has grandpas from the parent company who doesnt speak proper English(i havent heard any of the managers in L&T Infotech speaking at least one complete sentence without grammer mistake). We know how grandpas could do marketing effectively. >No respect for employees in lower cadres

    Advice to Management

Change the management(never gonna happen). Hire people with hard core IT experince to run the company . They could help the company grow. Retain good programmers; they are assets which help the company grow Give importance to customer satisfaction
