I worked at LCC International full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

The BIG GUY hot-shots don't know you (company too big) from adam, they're too busy "counting beans". They do or rather, did have REAL benefits including, though as with all, expensive "health coverage".

    Cons

No bonuses on major holidays. Not even a "Merry Christmas" email at that time of the year. 401K matching is low to zip. And of course, no security because of consistent and prospective down-sizing. Never know when you'll get the axe. Hell, they fired my boss, a VP in an airport parking lot at the drop of a hat.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The BIG guys are too proud to take advice. Big company atmosphere.

    Pros

Coworkers were great, money was good.

    Cons

Upper management is clueless. They said they want to improve things but that was just lip service.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at LCC International part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, good entry level experience, dedicated and inspiring employees around.

    Cons

Very rude HR department, will do anything to get what they want from you. Company does not care about their employees at all. Zero employee satisfaction if you consider things like behavior and concern regarding an employees personal situations. They will take you when they need you else....

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Teach the HR department to behave like they are interacting to humans and also ask them to consider how they would like to be treated if they were on the receiving end.

    Pros

They promote from within if you prove your up to the new job. There is opportunity to travel all over. Good benifits. Human resources and payroll dept. Are awesome in answering questions quickly. Its a decent starter job into technology.

    Cons

Pay is very low. There seems to be a high turnover in all areas of the company. Its hard to keep up with who to contact when your traveling on the road. I have to chase down someone to make travel arrangements. They don't really understand what project your on, your location, or duration.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep track of your employees and listen to them.

    Pros

You might get placed in a very long term project. However, those are few and far in between these days

    Cons

Lack of communication between management and employees. You will probably meet/talk to your manager once a year. There is no growth in the company. Performance reviews are a joke.
