    Good people, decent pay and some growth opportunity

    Cons

    More qualified people to be dispatched to Global office to communicate with local NOT monitoring.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    HR / bonus system: guideline is good but needs to be flexible.
    Too many middle managers that are bottle neck for success.
    Being HQ member doesn't mean you could supervise local.

    Pros

    More collegiate (less cutthroat) atmosphere than Samsung. Stable employment. Fair promotion opportunities as long as you can deliver results.

    Cons

    Relatively low pay due to low profitability. Every facet of company performance is benchmarked against Samsung. Hierarchical, multi-layered, slow decision-making process in fast paced consumer electronics industry results in in-human development cycles and mountains of unnecessary reporting.

    huge org. covering very broad area of IT industry. can generate new device idea from leading consumer electronic and mobile device maker.

    Cons

    difficult to communicate with internal members due to complex decision making process. political characters of "OLD" LG employees.

    a friendly environment, solid job-secure,

    Cons

    lack of strategy and plan, unexpected overtime and weekend job, steady salary, shrinking the organization, ambiguous brand position(not premium in compared to Apple/Samsung, but not that cheap against china manafactures)

    Senior management should be diligent to share the vision of company with employee, and don't order inefficient work. for example, many unnecessary paper works are required by senior management.
