    Pros

Impressive learning, good opportunities to grow and develop your career. Koreans find it difficult to trust in domestic staff due to their cultural differences, but once they trust you, they make you feel one of them and give you everything you need to grow in their companies.

    Cons

Some people find it hard to deal with Korean managers as their temper and character could be sometimes aggressive and defensive at the same time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More opportunities for women in managerial positions!.

I have been working at LG Electronics full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The Korean management are trying to act more internationally, but have a long way to go. Their products are good, which gives the company a good product brand image.

    Cons

They have some very talented and dedicated local ( i.e. non-Korean) employees, but management decision making is very top-down. The Korean staff blindly obey, showing total compliance, but often the impact on the business at local level is counter-productive. This demotivates the local staff. Their mobiles products used to lead the market, but they have lost their way in recent years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dramatically reduce the proportion of Korean staff, or train the Koreans to be more assertive upwards.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

Better not work here if you are not a Korean. Most of the non-Korean employees have left the company.
