    Pros

You get what you work for.. Always an opportunity to work, just that. End of the day it's a job..

    Cons

No work then no money is made on your end. Commission an percentages are bogus. Orientation is gas an your fueled by false information.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Gotta have some back bone an not just do whatever they say. Yea, we all know " slow money is better than no money" . But you gotta make enough money for that to be true.. opportunities are limitless so don't be so limited.

I worked at LMS Intellibound full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The only pro I can think of is the flexibility they offer at some locations. This was a job I took because they were one of the few places hiring at the time. It is hard work, and most of the people I started with left after a few weeks, if not days. I ended up staying for several years, quit because of the poor conditions, and then went back because I got tired of working a twelve hour night shift job.

    Cons

The pay was low for the amount of work that you had to put in. You are not really valued as an employee, but as long as you finish tasks quickly you literally have a job as long as you will stay. Insurance plan is a joke; no family can live off of their offering.

Management knows what they are doing. They generally are looking out for their jobs, and because of the nature of 3rd party service providers try to low ball their way into contracts. This makes it hard to pay good employees, but they don't really care because once the contract is signed the site managers have it made. There are a million and one peons who will work for a while, then quit to go party. That's the bulk of their labor force.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your laborers and team leads a decent wage, not based off of commission. Actually, promote employees based off of their contributions and not favoritism.

    Pros

The company is growing. They are now known as Capstone Logistics.

    Cons

This company says they will have an open door policy for employees but they do not. Corporate will not train management properly before having them run a site on their own but will make you jump thru nearly impossible hoops to get the job but they don't care. There is no "real" training before getting thrown to the wolves. Turnover is high because they do not value the work of the employees and the pay is below average for what is required. Please forget any jumps in pay for raises as well. Upper management has no idea how to run warehouses and won't take the time to learn or listen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to appreciate the workers that have made you so successful. Pay them what they are actually worth. Talk to your teams instead of "at" them and there should not just be a path for a manager/director to complain about an employee. Any manager/director can make anything up. Let the employee judge their management as well. Then you may truly find out which managers/directors actually do not work and always places the blame on someone on the team they do not like.

I worked at LMS Intellibound full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great pay for anybody without a college degree.
Opportunities to travel to other warehouses across the country.

    Cons

Hard on the body, may take weeks to get use to.
Disgruntled employees. Few are satisfied with their job.
Management cares more about production rather than employees.
There are only start times, no clear idea of when shift will end.
Pay for production can work against you considering amount of time and work involved.
Not a good job for those with a second job or going to school.
Some employees worry more about their production and pay and will not help in training.
    High turnover.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create a training schedule that builds up to pay for production and allows new employees to grasp skills needed to accomplish their job such as operating a fork lift or powered pallet jack. Have trainers train and not worry about how many trucks they can do during a shift.

I have been working at LMS Intellibound

    Pros

there is really only 1 good reason to work here and that is money compared to other work without a diploma

    Cons

Bad management, terrible on your body, they claim its production but when you make good money they move you to bad trucks so you make less. No matter how long you work for this company they dont want you to make any more then the newest employees. NO overtime at all, though it doesnt matter because they only pay you half time on overtime so who would want it? You only get one week to train at this job and its pointless for the most part so unless you already have some experience you most likely wont make it because other associates are not likely to help you out since it is a "production" job. This job is great for the lazy people who just need a job regardless of money because this company will not fire anyone. minimum wage guaruntee!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As far as advice to leadership. 90 percent of the leaders have no idea the stress they put on their associates and all the extra labor they force upon their dock leads just so they dont have to do as much work. The only thing that makes people want to stay employed by you is money so think about that when you threaten them by cutting their profits all the time... noone on the floor level has ever recieved a real pay increase since the companys inception due to the fat cats in corporate being greedy.
