    Pros

Empowering individuals, great work ethics, diverse and very inclusive. Dynamic leadership and good place to socialise. Locog made it fun to work and manage work life balance.

    Cons

Some lack of recognition for hard work; internal politics with vendors and partners; not a reactive culture and often lagged behind due to lack of decision making on time. Although performance reviews were fair, it did take a long time to get any pay rise. Often the technical teams and HR were not in clear with processes in the company.

    Advice to Management

It was great fun to be part of olympics but the internal politics and lack of good of processes resulted in severe resource shortage towards the games time clearing indicating gaps in planning for the games. Could have done a lot better!

    Pros

Great culture, really innovative projects, lots of responsibliity. The opportunity to do the Gmes in your home city is the best.

    Cons

Embroiled in politics of games, and couldn't really fail so there was a lot of over the shoulder reporting going on.

    Advice to Management

I think that the way the whole organisation was structured in the lead up to the Games could have been improved by changing the financial relationship with LOCOG.
