    Pros

Free lunches are provided, but they are not always edible. The employee base is good to work with and very diverse.

    Cons

They do not allow you to staff up to the level that will make you productive and then blame you for the failures. They have a culture of pointing fingers to blame other departments to the point of making up excuses for failures.

    Advice to Management

Don't do it. It pays good, and the benefits are ok, but you will have no time for family or anything else and will live at work trying to fix other peoples departments to make yours run better.

    Pros

free food, sometimes a laid back place to work at, environment could be fun when the big wigs aren't walking the floor. getting to work around planes after passing the classes to get your AOA badge.

    Cons

they overwork you. They will put you in one position but have you doing different position for low pay. you can easily be blamed for the smallest things and people are out to lookout for themselves. They'll be quick to throw you to the wolves so they won't get in trouble or fired for their mistake.

    Advice to Management

show value to your workers. don't overlook their potential because they don't fit into your budget plans or because you show favoritism to other co-workers.

    Pros

Decent pay if you are at or above Supervisor level. Excellent benefits package and a nice yearly bonus if your department does well. People are great....you see them so much they are like your second family. Free lunch everyday. I would come in early and have a free breakfast as well. Great exposure to other cultures.

    Cons

Not so good work life balance. You are paid a decent salary but you are at work 60 hours a week including weekends and holidays. Employees below you are paid an awful hourly wage and expected to perform miracles. You cannot help them because it against union rules. Upper management views only numbers, and wants you to do the same. The operation is always going wrong and you are being blamed for it. When you try to make changes, no one listens.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your front of line workers. They have been with company for 20+ years and have seen it all. Also, they need to be paid a decent wage.

    Pros

Good colleagues Opportunity for travel if you want it Generally good facilities

    Cons

Politics can be difficult Policies often rigid

    Advice to Management

Lots of turnover in senior ranks makes a consistent direction difficult to maintain. Need to listen more to regions outside of EMEA. Need to diversify outside of flag carrier airlines and flight services in general.

    Pros

Dedicated employees, many very long tenured. Interesting work if you enjoy data and airlines. Great benefit package and high quality work space

    Cons

Little advancement opportunity, not much growth

    Pros

The only real reason to work here is if you are out of a job because "little money" is better then no money

    Cons

Low pay for the time you put in (8hrs) (include tax reductions) of your pay check, You are spoken to as if you are a child by other employers and staff, You are not trained long enough to get a vice grip on a specific job, People who been there longer are treated way better than new hires, They constantly hire because people are constantly quitting,

    Advice to Management

This was the worst job I ever had...You guys should practice what you preach because what I was told in orientation never happened the time I was there...treat your employees with respect and dignity!

    Pros

The schedule is flexible which is a great thing for millennial's, also there is so much experience in the airline catering business that you can learn so much in a short amount of time. The last thing is the company is a global company which provides great opportunity for global interactions.

    Cons

The only con I came across while working here was that the talent is so elite that they can teach the beginning steps of learning how to use systems or resources. There also needs to be more significance in the education of their people, while they are great at what they do they cant grow holistically to benefit the company.

    Pros

Division of labor, well structures, lots to learn and teach, great co ordination and teamwork, right from top management

    Cons

Though not really a negative, it could be a challenge to be fast paced at times, with sudden meal count changes, flight delays and aircraft changes ( swaps) which however is the very nature of the business.

    Advice to Management

Glad and very happy to be back with LSG sky Chefs , this time at TX !
