    I worked at LSI

    Pros

LSI was a great company. Good people, good leadership, no debt.

    Cons

Avago Technologies bought them in May of 2014 and the company just began to unravel. Avago works on a skeleton crew and their motto is "Good enough". It became apparent very quickly that Avago only bought LSI in order to make money off of it's parts. They never intended to keep the company intact. The Allentown, PA employees have faded away to nothing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Avago needs a new CEO. That is their only hope.

Excellent place to work, leadership investing in technology and not afraid to stand back and let employees do the work. People oriented company with great benefits, competitive pay, and an understanding for work-life balance.

I have been working at LSI

    Pros

It used to be a good place to work before getting acquired by Avago.
Compensation was at par with the market.
A lot of employee friendly policies ( they have vanished now after change in administration)

    Cons

Things have become very closed.Information doesn't percolate down.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No advice. I guess people who are still with the company will continue with the company no matter what.
People who are new will be up for a rude shock.
