    Pros

Small company with family environment. You don't get lost in the shuffle like you do in larger hospital companies. Multi-state locations so their are transfer and growth opportunities.

    Cons

Small company...easy to stand out in both the positive and negative sense. Don't always have the resources that you might with a bigger company.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to reward and highlight hard workers!

    Pros

Decent compensation, better if your'e an RN.
    Challenging

    Cons

Management is inept and breeds a culture of laziness and selfishness among the clinical staff. No one is willing to take responsibility for their actions. If you disagree with management, you get disciplined. If you prove them wrong and incompetent, you get fired.

    Advice to Management

Stop being lazy and listen to your staff.

    Pros

Friendly, dedicated staff. The Long-Term Acute Care Hospital is a challenging environment to work in, and Landmark does well at bringing in the types of people that can rise to the challenge.

    Cons

Because Landmark is a for-profit organization, the focus can sometimes seem to be more about making sure that costs are kept down and that profit margins are kept up. Understandable, but frustrating when trying to get some of the little extras that could make the patient experience better.

    Pros

    -Work was appreciated
    -Staff was always friendly
    -Good learning experience

    Cons

    -Everyday was the same
-Low census, so sometimes employees were sent home

    Advice to Management

Work was always appreciated and employees were respected as individuals. There is a new CEO since I worked there but the small hospital environment which makes the working environment enjoyable.

    Pros

    Time off (28 days yr)
Great at pt. care (better than anywhere else I've worked)
Rarely low censused and can easily get OT

    Cons

Scheduling (call it self scheduling and NEVER give you what you actually picked)
    Benefits are horribly expensive
    Few opportunities for certifications/training/classes
These are the main reasons that I left.
