Former Employee - Supply-Chain Manager in Paris (France)

I worked at LVMH full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Growing company, international, famous brand, nice products, nice locations, participation to benefits quite attractive, lots of skilled employees

    Cons

low salaries compared to other people with similar experience, managers are not skilled for managing people, very difficult to get promoted (senior managers are usually hired from other companies) and long work hours with limited recognition. Culture very polished, but stabbing in the back, with a lot of women and divas. Limited talent retention due to the company attractiveness, HR don't really care about the high turnover.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus a bit more on turnover and talent turnover, since training new people too often can really harm the company.
Invest more in system for Back-office (not stores only) and invest more in hotline.

Former Employee - Intern In Sales in Geneva (Switzerland)

I worked at LVMH as an intern for more than a year

    Pros

It's quite a Good experience for your CV. It depends where you want to orient yourself after but employers are quite receptive to this brand

    Cons

The HR are lame. They don't make people evolve in intern, they prefer to take people from outside. And are quite sensitive to the diplomas you have got.
The HR aren't really close to the employers neither

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

HR should be more "experience" orientated than "diploma" orientated.
