ProsManagement sets goals and allows employees flexibility to meet them
Room for internal advancement
High quality employees - those few bad hires are gently terminated in due time

Conslines of authority can be fuzzy. this is because the work is so IT intensive that one could have a few superiors to report to or to work for - sort of a matrix organization due to the type of work

Advice to Senior Managementstay on top of ad hoc projects to ensure lines of responsibility are clear; much of the work is highly interconnected, which requires much planning, long lead times and about 50% more time than initially estimated
