I worked in Clinical Trials for LabCorp, it has limited growth for my career path, but not a bad place to start.

I have been working at LabCorp full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Employees are nice and willing to help. Decent vacation time and pay.

    Cons

The system isn't the best. So much manual work is needed. Upper management needs to put process in place to make it easier for project managers. I handle 26 studies at the moment. Work life balance is hard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Update your system and hire more people. Work life balance is horrible due to the amount of work that gets thrown at us.

I worked at LabCorp full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Benefits & 401K. Also online health programs are very helpful.

    Cons

Too much office politics with upper management and team lead; they brush off situations and do not hear all sides of story. Overworked, no quality of life. Management & team lead do not know the struggle we go through on a day to day basis. Overtime is good to have as an option but it shouldn't be everyday. Too much work, too little dedicated people. Basically very high school ..so sad !!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more loyal people & more knowledgeable managers.

    I worked at LabCorp

    Pros

-Friendly employees (non-management), some very nice people working here.
-Free lab testing for all employees.

    Cons

    -Very poor management.
    -No growth, definite glass ceiling.
-No company events or company moral.
-Upper management will speak a different language in front of you (so you won't understand them).
-Alienated and negative work environment, large turnover rate.
-Company never closes, you lose vacation in severe weather situations. (only 6 paid holidays).
-High expectations and no employee recognition.
-No coaching, or career guidance from management.
-Too many double standards, some employees can work from home, but certain employees cannot.
-Stock price keeps going up, but none of these profits/bonuses get passed to regular employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    -Treat Your Employees Like Customers/Clients.

-Certain LabCorp policies at Esoterix are being violated, this needs to be fixed.
