Lafarge is headed in the right direction

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Herndon, VA

ProsThe benefits and compensation are better than average. Development opportunities are available, but you need to pursue them.

ConsLafarge is a very male dominated company. Good if you're "one of the guys". Not so good if you're not.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep working to break up the good ole boy network. Progress has been made to focus on diversity, but lots of work still to be done.

Lafarge is a company from the core sector, but the growth potential has been missed and not kept pace with the growth.

Assistant General Manager Sales (Current Employee) Nāgpur, Maharashtra (India)

ProsGive liberty to Achieve the results. You learn to work on your own.

ConsNo clarity and guidance from seniors. The seniors are low achievers. There is too much of politics in this company. People who are a part of the coterie get promotions and high increments. Not able to retain talented people.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to be open.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
