Former Employee – worked at Lakeshore Engineering Services full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – If you have the gift of gab and have the personality of a used car salesmen you can go far in this company with nothing more.
Cons – The company does nothing more than pass thru all the work to subcontractors. If you fall into the "Pros" about this company then you'll do ok as an employee for a few years then you'll be blamed for the issues. Sr management relies on repeating its core values for how they will get projects completed because they have no real plans to do so otherwise. Their inability to execute projects, now that their large firm not a small business, is reflected by the countless projects with issues and client evaluations. The company believes they can buy the issues away with their client when the heat is on. They have stooped so low they try to write the evaluation for the client and hand it to them instead of earning it. Look out for any promises they lure one in with. At the end if the day they dont come thru.
Advice to Senior Management – Get rid of the dead weight and the car salesmen and trust the ones that do care, that you have but not listened to over the years.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
