Average contracting salary, culturally different than major U.S. corporations.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Houston, TX

ProsThe salary as a contractor was average to good. Some of the categories paid by the health insurance were very comprehensive.

ConsThere were some odd interactions with HR, some due to cultural differences, and many due to differences of phrasing things. The HR system was probably understaffed, and gave the impression of not being able to complete tasks efficiently, and did not communicate nearly as well as other companies' HR departments I have interacted with.

Advice to Senior ManagementRegarding human resources, hire native language speakers familiar with the culture in each of the countries where you have employees to interact with the employees there.

    Not a challenging environment

    Executive (Former Employee)

ProsGet all the time in world to work on things, relaxed, laid back

Consnot so challenging, least recognition to talents, do the same stuff over and over again, get all info from previously available results and keep repeating it, not worried about results that an excel prints out, revisions over and over again, contractors over-powering managers/management

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
