    Pros

Will retain you even if you don't have any productive work.
Few (1 out of 50) managers are good to newcomers

    Cons

Once you enter as a site engineer you will considered as a supervisor than an engineer. You will have to stand on site even if you don't have anything to do ( just watch what labors are doing).
    Worst job timings.
No one will care about your interest of work.
HR people are not co-operative ( It has been a year when I left this company and still haven't received my experience letter)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please ask GET about his area of interest otherwise you are ruining his/her career.
Do consider of revising job timings for site engineers.

I worked at Larsen & Toubro as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

The salary as a contractor was average to good. Some of the categories paid by the health insurance were very comprehensive.

    Cons

There were some odd interactions with HR, some due to cultural differences, and many due to differences of phrasing things. The HR system was probably understaffed, and gave the impression of not being able to complete tasks efficiently, and did not communicate nearly as well as other companies' HR departments I have interacted with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Regarding human resources, hire native language speakers familiar with the culture in each of the countries where you have employees to interact with the employees there.
