    Pros

    Good informal knowledge sharing among colleagues. Good friend circle.
    Good onsite opportunities.
    Salary on par with Infy, Wipro and similar segment companies
    Good for Embedded electronics and Mechanical ( solidworks, ProE) skills only

    Cons

    Very bad work culture.Top and senior management treat employees as personal servents. Lot of shouting and humilating of resources.
    Very short projects and hence no stability. May end up as jack of all trades and master of none.
    Benefits like flexible working hours,leaves,bonus,canteen are very poor in comparision to Infy, Wipro and similar segment companies.
    No or less opportunities for any skill set other than the above mentioned two.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Make the HR department strong enough to take independent decisions.
    Keep simple processess which are easily implementable across the organization.

    This company should not be joined as a fresher. Lateral joinees should confirm the nature of work before joining.

    Pros

    Long term onsite opportunity if you are lucky enough to get such a project. Or if you are unlucky, you can be asked to work on a project which involves copy and paste.

    Cons

    Freshers can be given a project regardless of their technical skills, e.g. there are projects which involve helpdesk jobs where technical freshers are put to work on.

    Cheats its employees, customes and government. At a threshold of scam of 17 Thousand Crores, which may unearth anytime.

    Pros

    Most complex businesses, gives opportunities to learn (without reward/ salaries)

    Cons

    HR cheats employees, salary hike 0-2% year on year. ESOP BOND (not disclosed at the time of recruitment) Coorceive actions if do not pay BOND Value. Overall cheap tactics to recruit people. Managekment is fraud and self centric.

    Salaries to employees are the basic hygene. By cheating employees, you can grow in long run. Time has come when sticky management should step down and pave way for young generation and honest people.

    Pros

    1) Great people to work with though it can vary from department to department
    2) Laid back attitude and casual environment
    3) Typical 9 to 5 job, though Saturday is half day working so no worry of work-life balance at all.
    4) Good brand value outside of L&T
    5) Little to no office politics (as everyone knows that there is no credit for claiming good work)

    Cons

    1) HR sucks big time. They have absolutely no clue about HR. Highly employee-unfriendly policies.
    2) Time bound promotion like in govt company, no credit for good work. No career planning. Your designation is directly proportional to your age.
    3) Terribly low salary - peanuts. Its about 70%-250% lower than market standards depending upon your profile

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1) Fire your current HR and hire some good people who know what HR is. Have principle based decision making and not the other way round.
    2) Pay competitive salaries by bench marking across industry
    3) Have career planning and credit for good work.

    Pros

    You will learn hardships of life. The only positive thing is that I have Experienced the Worst. So anything after this always will be better.

    Cons

    HR have their own imaginary Policies. Unsupportive HR. Even My own Department was unsupportive not only to me but to all in my Cadre. No appreciation whatsoever even if i worked 12 Hrs/Day * 7 Days. Yes u heard it right.. 84 hrs/week, yet getting paid for 42 hrs/week(7hrs*6 days). My Half Day salary was cut as soon as i am late 2 mins. Very Low PLR. Lowest Salary compare to other industries of same level.
    No promotions for first 4 Years Except for Management Trainees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    One advice to Top management people are that number of intakes should not be 500% more than what you require. Because you are destroying the careers of those extra youngsters just for the benefit of your company.

    Helps to develop leadership qualities

    Cost Cutting is the main aim of firm , Working hours is 13 hours every day, Sunday is also counted in holiday if a person applies for a week off , Highly corrupted Managers, No social life . Good only for Diploma holders.

    Kindly change the Main motto of Earning Profit even at the cost of Employees .

    Pros

    We get to work on Prestigious projects and very good clients. There are a lot of Intelligent people and even the new recruits show exemplery levels of knowledge.

    Cons

    Inappropriate Compensation for the kind of talent they hire. Career may stagnate if you are not in good terms with your boss.
    Lack of good managers
    Overworking
