Had great vision under Tom Glenn, seems ADHD now with everything they are trying to do no clear direction.

    Educator (Current Employee) Leander, TX

ProsGreat parents in general. Community is dedicated to good schools and Leander isd does encourage individuals to be innovative.

ConsCurriculum is an inch deep and a mile wide.

Advice to Senior ManagementSome of the more recent choices (last 4 years or so) of elementary principals are just off. They are placing high school principals in elementary positions. It's not working. High school and elementary teachers are very different animals. They just don't mesh. Leander has always prided itself on being innovative. That's great with very focused leadership and competent people in leadership positions. All of the curriculum is scattered, has no rhyme or reason to the way it is set up.
Curriculum says they want feedback but when feedback happens they act offended and tell you that you don't know what you are talking about. TOM GLENN COME BACK!
Too many people trying to kiss behind for central office jobs at the expense of the children's education.
