    I worked at Lebara full-time

    Pros

the customer service department is well run wit everyone focusing on customer satisfaction.....unfortunately they are the only positive thing about the place

    Cons

Having worked in the HR department for nearly 3 years i can confirm that the positive reviews are written by either the HR department or PA's to the senior management. This is without a doubt the most political and poorly run company i have ever worked for. If you know the right people in the right places you'll be OK, otherwise you'd better do things exactly the way they've always been done or you won't be popular. There is no room for innovation and whilst the CEO is an inspiring guy to listen to, everyone below him is stifled and simply tows the line, fearful of what will happen if they don't. The Senior HR Team don't look after the needs of the staff, rather the needs of senior management and what is best for them.....though they are very good at covering this up.

    Advice to Management

errr, I'm not too sure what to put here. Maybe don't park your brand new McLaren supercar outside the front of the building on the same day you announce 90 redundancies.

    I worked at Lebara full-time

    Pros

Nothing you can't find in any other company

    Cons

It's just office politics and backstabbing. No margin for professional growth or real innovation. The atmosphere is not stimulating at all, you can see employees are afraid and just experience negative pression from top management. I can confirm most of positive review in this website are written from HR department.

    I worked at Lebara full-time

    Pros

Lebara is ambitious and unafraid to enter new markets and pursue unique opportunities for growth which can be rewarding for individuals at a sufficiently senior level. The Company is financed well and remuneration levels are competitive against many industries, however this is not the case for all within the organisation.

    Cons

There is elitism at the highest level in the Company and a very disbanded, top-heavy management structure. Decisions are made without adequate planning nor with any democratic input. Delegation to junior staff and aggressive management are how any progress is made and I witnessed several instances where staff were treated in a way that was vastly out of line with Lebara's values. I found this to be particularly upsetting given the competence and dedication of the staff in the firing-line, which explains the high staff turnover. All of the positively concepted staff schemes within the organisation are poorly implemented and miss their purpose, leaving Lebara a stressful and unrewarding place to work. Communication and decision making processes also need to be addressed to prevent a great deal of time and capital being wasted on non-essential projects, which are quickly disbanded.

    Advice to Management

Senior management must shift their focus from personal and political agendas to their own teams. Success should be celebrated and rewarded at every level, whilst staff should have a suitable avenue through which to voice their opinions and have input into their own department. Many times I witnessed extremely insightful offerings from staff being quicky dismissed by senior management without and consideration.

    I worked at Lebara full-time

    Pros

They pay well. They have a really nice office in a good location. Co-workers are friendly and London is great city

    Cons

Managers demanded too much work but not possible. I did low quality work to keep up with time schedules this is not good as I want to be proud of my work. Managers were not organised and requirements changes too often. No appreciation

    Advice to Management

Give your workers more time and respect the work they do for you. You think you can get more work done by telling them to work harder and faster. This wont work. Get more organised. Give a clear plan. Say thank you more also

I worked at Lebara full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good central London location close to transport links.

    Cons

Institutionalised cultural rifts amongst the workforce and management which impacts negatively in the day to day running of the company. Those who work hard and at the sharp end often get rebuked when the xxxx hit's the fan. The managers then group together to protect themselves and defend their indecisiveness and lack of leadership.

    Advice to Management

Start listening to the workers and treat them like human beings.
