Accounting Assistant / Cash Posting Specialist

Accounting Assistant/Cash Posting Specialist (Former Employee)
    Washington, DC

ProsWas able to find work for me when I needed employment at that time.

ConsAssignment ended due to position ending in another person taking position, at a lower salary rate.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep people informed daily on possible upcoming assignments.

This is an unorganized group of women

ProsEvery now and then when one or the other is not having personal problems you may get called for a job.

ConsThis is supposed to be an agency founded by women for women, sadly they are only interested in how much you bring in and not what you are worth.

Advice to Senior ManagementUpper management appears to run on emotion and not business etiquette or knowledge.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Good if you have a secondary source of income.

    Legal Secretary (Current Employee)
    Washington, DC

ProsIt works if you have another source of income, or if you truly plan to work only briefly between permanent jobs.

ConsPays only $20 per hour, with NO opportunity to make more, and no hopes of the rate being raised, not to mention that there are NO benefits whatsoever. Not a good primary source of income. (Of course, we have NO idea how much the agency actually charges the client per hour.)

Advice to Senior ManagementBe more proactive about temp-to-perm opportunities; be more open about what candidate needs to do to become permanent.
