    Pros

This company as a whole had great values. For a large company, it kept very close to home and to its founders ideas. It was very much family run, and there was presence by the CEO in every branch.

    Cons

There were some very strict rules that sometimes inhibited the ability to work and enjoy what it was that you were doing in the company.

    Advice to Management

Encourage more interaction between the different branches. There was another restuarant basically in the same building as us, but the were un in a very different manner, and we almost never interacted.

The restaurant is always busy and there is always money to be made as a server. The training program is extremely detailed and sets their employees up for success!

    Cons

Long hours can be tough for some but if you want to make good money, you have to put in the time and effort.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

Frustrating when management cannot handle situations & the resulting problems fall on servers but money is pretty good.

    Pros

The team is one of the best I've worked with in many years of serving. There is a lot of respect for their staff, and room for growth and moving up in the corporation. It's also nice to be a part of a company that is respected for their ethical and health standards when it comes to their seafood. Plus, with such an excellent wine cellar and a wine steward on hand, you have everything you need to really learn extensively about wine and grape varietals, regions, etc

    Cons

Being a server is still being a server, so long shifts, fatigue and crabbiness will come along just like any other serving job

    Advice to Management

As any manager should be advised, just continue to respect your staff. Restaurant work is stressful for everyone involved, continue creating a culture of appreciation for your staff

    Pros

The managers are exceptionally nice, surprisingly so. They seem to genuinely care about their staff both in front of customers and in the kitchen. If you have a free minute you can also have a free cup of their clam chowder, which is always delicious.

    Cons

The work was rather exhausting, and mostly constant action from arrival to departure. Sometimes it could get a bit overwhelming. The hours were also quite late, sometimes not leaving the restaurant until close to midnight. Sometimes managers and associates get caught up in the idea of the "Legal family", and demand an extraordinary level of loyalty to the corporation.

    Advice to Management

A little more patience with new hires would be a good idea. They are thrust into the incredibly feverish activity almost immediately, and while they do learn, it can be almost hellish for the first few weeks.
