Prosgood seasonal job, you can pick up and trade shifts online, some "helpful" co workers, great benefits after a period of time.

Consshort breaks, low pay, and in some areas they only train you once so the next day you're in that area, you're alone.

Advice to Senior Managementmore training days.higher pay.

UNFAIR UNJUST AND NOT A EQUAL OPPORTUNITY

    Admissions Associate (Current Employee)

    ProsNOTHING
    NOTHING AT ALL
    Discounts i guess

    ConsThe company
    the leads
    benefits (there are none!)
    pay
    time off (hard to get)

Advice to Senior ManagementPeople get sick, people die, and things happen. Counting health issues against people is not fair. Neither is the fact to get to higher positions you need to literally have a 3.5-4.0 GPA. Maybe focus on your EMPLOYEES rather than your snobby guests.

    Just a number

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsYou meet nice people. Some of the coworkers are very good people.

ConsThe company does not care about you as a person. You are just a number to them, in every department. As soon as they don't like you they will fire you for the smallest reason. I have been working here for over 6 years and have seen this happen many times. During the busy season they expect you to work long strenuous hours with small breaks. The pay is meager and the raises are a joke. There has been a pay raise freeze for practically the entire time i have worked here (6+ years). Even though the company has continued to expand and attract more customers each year.

    DO NOT WORK HERE.

    Advice to Senior ManagementQuit.

Pizza Pasta should be avoided at all costs

Food and Beverage Associate (Current Employee)
    Carlsbad, CA

ProsFriendly co-workers; Free tickets after long periods of work

ConsMediocre payment considering the amount of work done. Inability to teach new staff. Overwhelming hours during Spring Break and Summer, underwhelming hours every other time. The extra 50 cents above minimum wage fails to justify the amount of stress workers are put under compared to other positions within the park.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrain workers in-depth from the start. When everything moves so quickly, it is vital to inform employees of all necessary information in order to prevent confusion.

    Fun and friendly atmosphere

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Carlsbad, CA

ProsCreating a fun experience for children to remember forever. Discounts on Lego product, pro environmental and ecology policies, international corporation.

ConsThe way some of the managers and administrators decide to spend money or not spend money often seems arbitrary and not always frontline focused.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe face of the park to guests should be the first priority. Maintain the appearance of the park before improving pointless back of house things.

great job if you are in high school. fun working environment with a simple hiring process

    Retail Sales Associate (Former Employee)

Prosnot much thinking required, fun environment, mellow hours and discounts on those extremely expensive plastic blocks. they make for great christmas gifts for any age. people of all ages seem to enjoy the accomplished feeling of building their own death star out of plastic

Consnot much thinking required, seems like it would take 30 years to become a supervisor. all supervisors did also seem like something was bothering them from the inside out. not sure what that was about but many of them did not seem to happy

Advice to Senior Managementthe belts were extremely uncomfortable. try new ones. also possibly chill out on the guys having short hair policy. seems goofy to me but if your hair is longer than a long buzz they make you wear these goofy hats. i love goofy hats but on other people
