I have been working at Lehigh Hanson full-time

    Pros

Great department to work in; enjoy the autonomy and the ability to make a difference with the resources afforded.

    Cons

Very lean teams can lead to a challenge in work-life balance, but there's always a way, and management is flexible and open to proposed solutions.

    Pros

    Semi-casual environment with flexible schedules

    Cons

Good ole boy company that is having diversity growing pains. They have self-funded benefits and do not allow for same-sex legal spouses to obtain benefits even though there is no mention of spouse gender in their policies and documents.

    Advice to Management

Do more for your employees or you will keep losing the good ones.

    Pros

The coolest place that I ever worked. If you like heavy industry, this is the place to play with BIG TOYS. All the authority and responsibility that you want to grab.

    Cons

Management structure in this plant is a shambles. No rules are hard and fast.

    Advice to Management

This plant needs five years of serious Management, formal procedures, and increased maintenance.

Was hired as a mechanic/welder. Never was given the chance to do the job. Agreed on a pay rate and was not given that either.

    Cons

management is very disrespectful. The workers are great that u have to work with but working under management is the worst.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Co-workers are great, card holders very special people

    Cons

Supervisory Management in the Disbursement Team is not professional, uncompassionate and not consistent in instructions.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, the company sponsored review filled out by employees is deceiving. You are loosing a lot of good well trained, knowledgeable people. Walk around and look at how department is being run.
