    Pros

laudable focus on global education, campus climate and work-life balance

    Cons

medium size research institution in the Lehigh Valley; has to compete with R1 institutions in big cities

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The focus on residence life and fraternities/dormitories and the future of residence life at Lehigh for faculty, staff and students has been neglected, but I am so pleased it is now getting the attention and action it deserves.

I have been working at Lehigh University

    Pros

It is a good engineering school. 2 hours driving from New York. Lots of opportunity. Cost of living is reasonable and the salary for research assistant is very well.

    Cons

There is no double work double pay in summer. The experience of PhD depends on the advisor. I am so lucky to have a nice advisor. But I also know some advisors push their students. But this situation is the same in every university.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
