    Pros

Not very stressful. Good hours. Not to many late nights in the office. Have options to work in the field. Good benefits.

    Pros

The compensation and benefits were generous and competitive. Working from home was a perk (and at times a challenge). I respected the management and my peers.

    Cons

We had a client that was a total meat grinder. The expectations were unreasonable, but we were desperate to keep the contract. I wanted to like Lend Lease, but that client was unbearable to work for.

    Advice to Management

Your supportive culture is totally undermined when you allow a client to beat up your entire team. I always had a sense that it was a layoff or tolerate situation, so I guess thanks for keeping me employed. Sorry I couldn't hang in long enough to get through that contract though.

    Pros

Company really cares about their employees. Opportunities are always available if you work hard. Great learning opportunities and excellent benefits.

    Cons

Management procedures are very complex and not efficient for the type of work we do. Need to be much less conservative if we are to be successful in the construction market.

    Pros

People are really great to work with and really easy to get along with! They want you to get a good experience so if you want to do something let them know and you can do it!

    Cons

Your work load can be very minimal especially when people get really busy.

I worked at Lend Lease full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They are highly into educating their people, which is a good thing. There were plenty of required training in all areas of business, work relationships, safety and technology.

    Cons

It seemed to me that after they bought our small company, they assumed they knew how to run the business side of it. Their holdings in other parts of the world made it look a bit egotistical when they regarded our sector as if it wasn't anything that mattered - whether they succeeded or failed at it. To them, it was just another dollar.

    Advice to Management

My advice wouldn't go to management. I loved my management. They were so helpful and kind and willing to do whatever it took to properly prepare me to work everyday. There was never a need that I had that they didn't bend over backwards to fulfill. My advice would go to the board in Australia, and that would be, cutting corners at 10 cents a corner adds up....
