Pros
Good salaries but golden handcuffs; Benefits are adequate; 401K plan; Comfortable offices; Friendly environment and comfortable working conditions overall. Company produces a great product.
Cons
Poor management; Poor communication; Company is imploding. There is a lot of outsourcing going on, which leaves nearly everyone in fear of their job.
Advice to Senior Management
Develop a vision and communicate it honestly to the employees. There is a great deal of employee pride with the company but people are treated like disposable resources.
Pros
Work from home.
great family/work life balance.
average compensation
free trips
had a pension plan
has a 401k plan
Cons
too much change
not much opportunity for growth
management promotions based on senority instead of ability
mirco managment
Advice to Senior Management
communicate with employee about why changes are happening before the changes occur.
Pros
-Lots of autonomy

-Good benefits, retirement and time off
-Very talented, hard working peers
-dynamic industry
Cons
-very difficult goals
-ever-changing targets and roles
-complicated pay structure that has mistakes frequently
-considerably lower salary than industry averages
-teaming and partnering is misaligned much of the time
-product perceived to be commoditized
Advice to Senior Management
Talk with people on the street more to (1) fill them in on why what's happening happens and (2) have some transparency and consistency in the sales roles.
Pros
Well known products well recognised in the market
Cons
Really do get treating like a battery hen. You get glared at when you leave your desk and are only allowed to get drinks a certain times. Calls are monitored and you get no autonomy whatsoever.
Advice to Senior Management
Recognise talent and trust your employees.
Pros
a stable company with good benefits and flexibility
Cons
the culture is like highschool, the people operate like they are in highschool and it is very unprofessional.
Advice to Senior Management
get rid of more than half of the people that work there.
Pros
Good work life balance, flexible hours, flexibility in how you do you job, Ok pay relative to market, global company
Cons
Limited career opportunities - people work there for 20+ years, hard to climb up the ladder. Company is a low growth company in a low growth industry.
Advice to Senior Management
Set up better programs to promote talent for management, be patient in letting new initiatives succeed, don't manage for the stock. Get feedback when making reorganization from lower level employees - we have made many changes that were not very good, and didn't make the ones we needed.
Pros
Like others have said, the customer service department is kind of like its own little company. If you like a strict regiment of being told when and where to be and when you can use the restroom and take your lunch, then this is a good position for you.
Cons
Chained to telephone, must account for every minute of every day.
Pros
Great benefits overall. The customers are often great to work with.
Cons
Low pay, high stress and CS reps are treated with zero respect. The company places a large emphasis on feedback, which could be a really positive tool. Unfortunately, management focuses more on providing negative feedback than positive. Management and senior employees don't know how to accept feedback that is given to them.
No work-life balance. CS never closes and so someone has to work holidays. While upper management is celebrating Christmas in Belize, CS reps are required to sit in a cubicle alone in a silent building on holidays.
Morale is extremely low in CS and the rigid rules, narrow- mindedness and lack of respect continue to drive morale down. This place has destroyed my dignity and ruined my health.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat CS reps like people not robots. Customer Support is an essential part of this company. You wouldn't be where you are without CS. Start treating us that way.
Pros
If you get into the management click, the promotions and protection from layoffs will follow.
Cons
Organizational maturity of LNSSI is evident in the churn and employee turnover. Sales management is immature and inexperienced. The public image of the company doesn't match the reality behind the scene.
Advice to Senior Management
Put the right people in leadership. You can't lead superior personnel with marginal leaders.
Pros
Good training and chance for advancement
Cons
Long hours, frequent changes in job responsibilites
