Pros – Employees are very nice and from diverse backgrounds. Great office in a great prime location. They have a few ameneties in their offices for employees. They're showrooms are very nice.
Cons – Very low importance for the employee as an individual. Management often times overlooked the work put in by employees. Very low pay in almost all working positions.

Former Employee – worked at Li & Fung
Pros – They have up to date design computer software, an effective and knowledgeable IT department, a budget for extensive travel if you work your way up the ladder, and several different kinds of departments in house, such as graphic lab and sewing room, so you don't have to outsource most things
Cons – Virtually no help from HR, massive layoffs every year, revolving door type of company, promotions and raises promised and never granted, or granted only to management's favorites, dark offices with no windows inside, late hours, lack of positive vibe and general enthusiasm. Not well managed as tasks are always off schedule and late and workers are made to spend a lot of time on projects that really weren't a priority.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay attention to your worker's needs and level of happiness.

Former Employee – worked at Li & Fung full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – LF has large orders with many factories, so it's easier to get leverage to meet delivery times and low prices as a merchandiser.
Every department in each country has their own expertise and factory relationships.
Cons – Poor use of technology - a lot of time wasted on data entry into a redundant order process and tracking system.
Company strategy doesn't really trickle down to the junior employees.
– I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
