I worked at Liberman Broadcasting full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Plenty of hands on experience is provided given that you are a hard worker.
It's a learning experience if you are starting out in your career.

    Cons

No room for growth. Low pay. Focused mostly on hiring from outside than developing own talent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Compensate better. Promote from within.

I have been working at Liberman Broadcasting full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

As a recent graduate, this feels like the perfect place to start out learning the ropes and get the swing of things.

    Cons

Low rates compared to English Market (but I'm told that's standard). It's a Spanish-language broadcaster, so being a Spanish-speaker is mandatory (or, you know, know someone within the company to get you in).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consistency is lacking. Quality control often misses mistakes because they are drowning in work. If the company could somehow CONSISTENTLY be on the same page, I'm sure the company would grow even more productively.

I worked at Liberman Broadcasting full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I met my wife while working there.

    Cons

    Everything.
    TERRIBLE pay
    Unprofessional treatment. Very abusing.
They will exploit you as much as they can and then if you leave for a better opportunity they will treat you as if its your fault, put you in their black list and give very bad and false references if a new employee calls in for references. They are just bad people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management is the cancer and source of all the bad things there but exploiting their employees works for them so whatever I say it really doesn't matter to them.
It's just sad how they treat employees and the cheap and vulgar content they produce.

I worked at Liberman Broadcasting part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

It's a paycheck but not too good.

    Cons

Not really a professional place to work and learn. Training has to be done by other employees. Supervisor has no clue on how to lead and has a "whatever" attitude, unnessary papaerwork. The pay scale, well there is none. For this station to be in a top 10 market the pay is better for interns at other stations

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give your works an incentive to stay where they are and give them more money. Upper level managemnt should take a cut in pay for a couple of years and distribute the wealth to the worker-bees.

    I worked at Liberman Broadcasting

    Pros

Great managers, family-like culture, convenient location, great product to sell

    Cons

sales resources have room to improve, long sales meeting that takes place after normal business hours (but it's only once a week), promotions team could use alot more resources, very high turnover

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

keep up the open-door policy, maintain weekly one-on-one meetings without fail, advocate for better benefits, more candidness about performance/progress early on
