Current Employee - Registered Nurse in Elyria, OH

    Pros

Great support services, company mission, values, and customer service. Room for growth and relocation.

    Cons

Long hours, high turn over, trying to cut costs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When dealing with licensed professionals need to allow for more autonomy and less micromanagement. Morale/team building is in need of great improvement. Senior management promotes and hires based on patronage with unqualified/unlicensed mediocre performers.

    Pros

Smart team. Considerate, professional management. Area leader for customer satisfaction.

    Cons

Not enough space. Typical nursing challenges (concrete thinkers at management level and lack of common sense at aide level).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Nursing: Lose the rigidity and stop looking the other way at aide issues. Rehab: Improve organization and space use.

    Pros

Great opportunity to learn the business. Fantastic training and education.

    Cons

Difficult to find a good work-life balance. Although not necessarily due to anything related to the company but rather the healthcare industry itself.

    Neutral Outlook

Current Employee - Therapist in Denver, CO

    Pros

Flexibility of schedule, good patients, good building maintenance

    Cons

Too much middle management. Think of the money they'd save firing the three layers of supervisors they have watching over us. They have lately been cutting nursing/CNA hours, who are paid the least anyway. It doesn't make the patients need less care.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Seriously, thin out the regional and divisional management ranks.
