    Pros

    Good people, great place to work, had a very positive experience overall and would recommend the company to anyone.

    Cons

    There is a seemingly high turnover rate at LifeCare which makes people anxious and nervous.. seems to be only the top guys however

    Pros

    Being at LifeCare is like having a large extended family that I get to see every day. Each team member is encouraging, helps out when needed, and the company as a whole is open to new ideas. LifeCare knows that people have busy lives and provides flexible work arrangements.

    Cons

    The traffic getting to work can be a hassle.

    Pros

    family oriented, amount of time off, work/life balance, mission of company is great.

    Cons

    call center metrics, overworking employees to catch up to the growing business created resentment and bitterness. The people on the phones were the front line for client retention; they should be treated accordingly.

    I worked at LifeCare

    Pros

    Benefits are good and team leadrers and co-workers are great. Original core service model is what built the company but it is being neglected for a new model that is not working.

    Cons

    Under new management since July of 2010 and changing the company service model and culture. It is not working. Lots of fear and misery. No new sales and service to exisitng clietns is suffering terribly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Seek first to understand, then to be understood. This once great little company is rapidly sliding into the muck.
