    Pros

Helping patients, most ambulances are in good to new shape, most co-workers are nice

    Cons

No work life balance, management and dispatch like holding crews hostage past there end time. Get run into the ground everyday, wont even let you stop for a quick meal or go to the bathroom. Upper management likes to smile and try to be your friend when you see them in person then stab you in the back and try to write you up later. Our team leads (supervisors) are a joke! They dont know how to supervise or do their jobs plus when you do get a good team leader that does their job the others get them taken out of that position cause it makes them look bad. No one in management can answer phone calls. The scheduler cant do her job correctly and never answers your day off requests which forces a employee to have to call out to get a day off. Management plays favorites. Not enough crews to handle calls.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue on how to run a company and how to treat your employees! We are humans with lives not your slaves! Stop be so money hungry and help your company by hiring more employees to get a handle on these ambulance calls.

    Pros

good benefits, pay is average for location, state of art ambulances and equip, plenty of opportunity to pick up overtime shifts

    Cons

non-stop workload, rarely time for a meal break, rarely get out on time or even close to it, poor decisions where mgmt doesn't prioritize emergent runs or inability to know what a medical priority is

    Advice to Management

lots of areas for improvement, see the pros and cons

    Pros

There are some pros...can't come up with any at the moment

    Cons

19 months and no review or raise...for all employees. Those that did get raises 2 years ago got an insulting 1% across the board.

Employee handbook is referenced but never seen...

Way too many family members working in positions they shouldn't be.

    Advice to Management

need to take a long hard look at who is doing what...Philly isn't the only place to expand.

    Advice to Management

    More professional training, better uniforms
