    Cronyism at its best.

General Manager (Current Employee) Tampa, FL

ProsGreat atmosphere, get to meet lots of people coming into the clubs. Help people get started to achieving better health.

ConsToo much politics, if not in tight with higher ups much more was expected from you.

Advice to Senior ManagementJust because someone can sell doesn't mean they can manage.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Great Small Gym Company, lots of perks

Member Service Representative (Current Employee) Saint Petersburg, FL

ProsFree membership. Corporate has good benefits, flexible hours and holidays.

ConsPoor commi\unication from upper management down

    Very high-pressure sales environment

    Sales (Former Employee) Lakeland, FL

ProsFree gym membership, way to get started in sales

ConsHigh-pressure sales tactics, pressure from management to bring in an expected amount of leads/appointments/sales per day. If you don't mind calling people numerous times to set appointments and/or going out into the community and approaching strangers to get them into the gym then it might be ok for you.

    Rewarding

Kids Club (Former Employee) Tampa, FL

ProsHaving no experience working as a personal trainer or even a sales rep, I can only describe what it was like working in the Kids Club. Working with these children at LFF for 2 years was the most rewarding job I could have asked for. All the parents were wonderful and it really felt like a family. I've been gone from the company for a year now and I still get updates from some of the families, it was such a wonderful experience.

ConsThe only negative thing I can say is that they refuse all requests for a pay raise. It's the only reason I had to find a new job.

Advice to Senior ManagementOffer employees something more than minimum wage. even if it's just a quarter more. That would go a long way.

Very fun. Staff was very fun to work with. But of course corporate america screws everyone.

Club Cleaner (Former Employee) Indianapolis, IN

ProsVery great atmosphere to work in. Members, coworkes. Every one very laid back and realistic about jobs. Very flexible schedule.

    ConsPay, advancement, care of employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake care of your employees better. Companies would be more successful also if there were a constant pay structure for the sales and personal training teams.
