I worked at Lifetime part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The networking opportunities are always available; flexible schedules; your results are what you put in.

    Cons

Requires almost if not all of your weekends and special holidays.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management is flexible if you can deliver what you promise. No micro-management.

    I worked at Lifetime

    Pros

Great opportunity to get exposed to how the back office of a media company operates... great employee comraderie, very welcoming atmosphere

    Cons

unpaid internship policy makes it a bit less appealing, although we did receive a small stipend at the end of the semester

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

paying your interns would encourage them to work harder and be more accountable for what they do, was a great internship and this would only add to it

I have been working at Lifetime full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great for students to learn daily skills they will need for when they are living on their own. Not only that there are plenty of activities available for employees to do.

    Cons

Pay is not much and personal growth plateaus very fast. I would consider this position for someone who is new to the country that has great english skills but not for someone who would like to make this a career.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more team building activities as the position is called "Operations team member"

    I worked at Lifetime

    Pros

Lifetime Networks can be a positive atmosphere. People seem to like working together and have a sense of humor about the programming. The staff coordinates small office parties in an attempt to keep things interesting. The work gets done pretty efficiently.

    Cons

Definite lack of feedback. I never received feedback about my job performance, even when I asked. My manager didn't really know what I was doing from day to day. There were definite cliques that seemed encouraged by those in management. Overall boring workload with few challenges.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate! There were way too many guessing games about their vision or goals.
