I have been working at Lifetouch full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Doing what I love, great team, very supportive, good hours, opportunity to advance, ESOP, fun, working with kids, traveling and making memories for families

    Cons

Paid unfairly for driving and wear on car, we need better salaries for the work we do, organization of our scheduled jobs

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

We really should be compensated for the amount of wear we put on our vehicles.

I have been working at Lifetouch part-time for more than a year

    Pros

You get to work with babies and children of all ages. Schedule is nice get home by 7. But you can sleep in a little since the studio doesn't open till 10. Management is very helpful.

    Cons

Salary is kinda unfair considering the job we do. It's hard being a photographer. It's a rewarding job but I wish it was rewarding in our pay. Or if we could accept tip. That would be nice

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work. I know you try hard to make everyone happy and it's hard but I am a loyal employee and I appreciate my job.

I have been working at Lifetouch full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I have been given numerous advancement opportunities, along with valuable training in management, leadership, manufacturing, lean manufacturing principles, etc. This company has been great to me from a personal and professional standpoint, and I am lucky to be a part of such a great organization.

    Cons

Corporate investment is slow at times; it does come, but of course not in the same timely manner as the shop floor experts feel it should.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue developing your people and providing opportunities they can look forward to. Thank you for caring about your employees.

I have been working at Lifetouch full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The people here have been so friendly, welcoming, creative, and hard working. Everyone I talk to seems to truly care about making this a great place to work and providing a way for families to remember this moment. I have never wanted to sit in a cubicle somewhere and do repetitive things. My job changes every day - always new people to meet, interesting problems to solve, things to discover. I have very supportive managers that are flexible if I need to take care of a sick kid. The rest of my team is so supportive of working on ideas. We are really trying to make a difference in the schools we serve and the lives of the people we meet.

    Cons

The work never stops - there is always more to do so you have to self manage to maintain work/life balance and that is something I am still learning.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep letting us share our ideas and making this a safe place for innovation.

    Pros

All the photographer I worked with were awesome and fun! My lead photographers always took the time to go over my pictures and give me some tips and tricks. I learned a lot in my few month at Lifetouch.

    Cons

None (besides some bad customers, but you can't control that)

I worked at Lifetouch as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

I worked at the pearl city, Hi studio and my experience there was great. Every meeting we would not only discuss issues but also praise employees that received compliments on review cards and gave little rewards for every year on the team. There was a lot of team building activities so we felt like team and a family.

    Cons

Some employees just didn't care but they weren't really talked too. No names but this girl would just come and kind of hang out and sit around instead of working like the rest of us. But she wasn't really talked to about it because her mom was I charge of a school that was a client of ours.
