I worked at Lincoln Financial Group full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – At Lincoln, IT team is using latest markatable technologies. Benefits offered to the employees are excellent with comparable salary.
Cons – At Lincoln, there are no processes or protocols in place. Most of the work come on the fly! Very poor planning and that constitutes emergencies on the technical team.
Advice to Senior Management – There is no transparency in the management. There is lot of distrust that work against the management. Loyal employees have been let go for no reason and hence key performing employees are leaving at their own.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Lincoln Financial Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – The opportunities for advancement are plentiful, management is fair (but firm) concerning HR policies, and the work itself is satisfying.
Cons – The compensation, in comparison with other companies in the industry, are below the average. The Customer Care Center is also one of the lowest paid departments, even though Customer Care Professionals handle over 5,000,000 service requests a year.
Advice to Senior Management – I would investigate the industry for a salary comparison. I would also spend some considerable time cultivating talent from within if someone demonstrates a capacity to excel in a management role.

Pros – They try to make work fun
Great benefits package-insurance choices, 401k match, time off
Flexible work schedules
Lots of different areas to move around to
Overall, I trust managemetn
Cons – In some areas, it's hard to move up
Lots of reorgs and uncertainty
Some who have worked there a long time seem jaded or that they are "untouchable" and don't do much work
Advice to Senior Management – I think we are on the right track. Continue to be as transparant as possible.

Advice to Senior Management – Talk to frontline workers and get the real story!!

I have been working at Lincoln Financial Group full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – A great group of young professionals just trying to make a name for themselves
Cons – Unless you're in the "in crowd" don't expect a promotion here. You are doomed to being an internal for the rest of your life.
Advice to Senior Management – Get a clue, internals have feelings too

I worked at Lincoln Financial Group
Pros – They have a good 401K for the employees.
Cons – The training at this company is hands down the worst I have ever come across. In my opinion the customer service skills and processing needs to be completely revamped.
