Stay away or get sucked in for life...

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Omaha, NE

ProsBenefits are actually pretty good and that's about the only positive thing I can say about this company.

ConsUnless you are prepared to kiss management's butt, don't expect to advance at Lincoln. Management will intervene when you attempt to transfer to another department and you will be stuck in your current role...UNLESS you made friends with the right management. Current employees - ask your manager's about six box.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo away with current culture. The good ol boys attitudes need to disappear and promotions/success should be determined on the employee's skills and abilities; not who attends the most functions at a VP's house.

Too many layers of incompetent upper level managers

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsBenefits - including 401(k) and annual incentive bonus

ConsTop heavy management who are disconnected and disinterested in what is going on in the trenches. Always behind on technology.

Advice to Senior ManagementDiscrimination lawsuits are likely if you do not put a stop the good ol' boys club and the special treatment and promotions for their friends. Lincoln talks a lot about the culture and value of their employees, but it is nothing but lip service unless you know someone
