    Pros

Some really great people, trying to the right things. Could be a great place to work, if the many "stars" would actually work together as a team.

    Cons

Poor leadership on so many levels. Total lack of concern for actual operational issues, cut costs is more important than anything else.

    Advice to Management

Leave and let real leaders lead.

    Pros

Multiple markets, good benefits, decent work flexibility, potential to become an exciting place to work again, great people, strategy is providing near term stock price benefit

    Cons

Every decision driven by cost cutting, potential for company and individuals stifled by extreme aversion to risk, very, very flat organization, advancement opportunities limited, roles are increasingly narrow

    Advice to Management

90% of employee thought is on cost cutting vs growing the business, consultants are not always right and can not replace institutional and market knowledge, employees need to be recognized and rewarded for taking risks

    Pros

Your fellow employees are the greatest benefit to working at Linde. If it wasn't for them this would be a place to avoid at all costs.

    Cons

The management of the company have basically zero people skills. They might as well be robots. Upper management manages by fear and uncertainty, which unsurprisingly trickles down and makes everyone's life miserable.

    Advice to Management

Stop worrying about today's stock price and start thinking about the long term. The long term means nurturing your employees instead of battering them into submission.

    Pros

Really when you add up all the stress, the politics, the butt kissing by mid-management to New Jersey, I can't think of a thing, other than their payroll always cleared the bank.

    Cons

Like being a DRONE ? DO you love mouthing empty words like "HPO" ? "Six Sigma" ? Are you willing to constantly re-apply to a job you will eventually grow to HATE ? Love long work weeks, including being attached at the hip to a phone 24/7 ? YOUR life is secondary to Linde's. CONSTANT RNA "whining",because we here at Linde just LOVE profit over people. Heck we can ALWAYS get more people. but maybe if you suck up enough, Pat Murphy will grace you with a picture. Do you love boiling down long term faithful employees to nothing more than a silicon dot on a hard drive ? Why then you'll fit right in here at "Drone Central"

    Advice to Management

Get over yourself. Your incessant whining about safety (while you work everyone to DEATH) got old a long time ago. Your constant emphasis on profits over your people will never make you competitive. How many employee's did we kill last year ?? Over a hundred I believe from numbers given by the all powerful SHEQ, who does nothing except sit at laptops passing the blame on everyone else.

    Pros

*Low to mid level people are generally pleasant to work with. *If you're happy taking orders from your manager and simply executing by following cookie cutter processes, you'll probably be fine.

    Cons

*Management at the top is inbred. There's little to no outside blood to bring in fresh ideas. *Creativity is low. You need to stick to the script set by others in Germany or the head office in New Jersey. *There's an intense cutthroat atmosphere among many middle managers. People in other departments are frequently all to happy to see their peers fail and seem to fear it will expose their own weaknesses. *Some of the most important people reporting to the President Pat Murphy are real dogs - For example, one is clearly ADD and another is OCD. Beware!

    Advice to Management

    Bring in some new blood.

    Cons

Retained management from former corporate structure is holding on to the old ways of the former company. Exceptional employees are put in positions where their work can be exploited and co-oped for supervisors. No grievance process
