Advice to Senior Management – Getting the right mix of experienced managers to work with management that is left to run company.

Current Employee – been working at Linear Air

Pros – Schedule is 5on/2off, with days on reserve spent at home. There are few nights you won't spend at home in your own bed. Increase in the pay scale attractive for the equipment flown. Management are very nice, respectful of everyone. Safety has been very good.

Cons – Communication has been slow or nonexistant at times. Its been a known problem and some work has been done, but still more to go. Life events are difficult to plan as monthly schedules go out only a couple weeks in advance. Company is still new and trying to grow, so the 5 year future is uncertain. As with all airlines, Linear is not economy-proof. You can be quite disappointed when you do have to overnight away from home.

Advice to Senior Management – Keep working towards the big goal. It is enjoyable to work here because of the culture and environment. I see a strong future if current trends are an indicator. Improve on corporate weaknesses, always strive to be better, continue respect at all levels, and there's little reason for the company won't be hugely successful.
