I worked at LinkUs full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They provide a company truck and a gas card. However, usually the worst trucks they have. Thats about it for the pros

    Cons

you'll work 50-70 hours a week. Work starts at 6:30AM. Sometimes you'll be out until 11PM or later and have to get up for work again the next morning. They wont send you help, you're on your own. Employee moral is very very low. You can tell no one there wants to be there.

    Advice to Management

Complete overhaul on management. Its very poor

    Pros

Decent money if you work hard. However you will be working long days, and into the evening most of the time.

    Cons

Lack of leadership from management. Unrealistic goals.

Very nice office. Decent area of town. That's literally all the pros.

    Cons

Inadequate compensation, high-strung coworkers, condescending management, no follow-through, office politics.

I have been working at LinkUs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If this job is for you, you'll make a pretty descent living. It is generally piecework as a technician so you do have to "earn" it. Just merely showing up for work isn't going to be enough. If that is you, go work at McDonalds. Within 3 years of employment I was making 60K + a year. They have paid training, Vacation time, 401K, Health insurance, and a company profit sharing program.

    Cons

It can be stressful, some performance goals can be hard to meet on a constant basis. (However this company strives to be the best at what they do, so setting goals high is important.)

    Advice to Management

The Dispatch office needs to work more closely with the Field Service Managers that are in charge of some of the more rural areas in order to increase efficiency. If it is inefficient for the company, it is inefficient for the technicians aswell. It would increase moral by ten fold.

I worked at LinkUs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They are always hiring technicians. They teach you the trade (paid training). More experienced co-workers are willing to help you out if you need it.

    Cons

It takes time to get fast at doing the job, and they expect you to be perfect all of the time gets old.

    Advice to Management

Threats are not means of motivation.

I worked at LinkUs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I really can't think of any pros to this company. They allow unethical things to happen to their employees by management and do nothing about it.

    Cons

Management was unprofessional, holidays off were not a guarantee, you begin to accrue 3 days of vacation after 1 year of service. The technicians were paid minimum wage and required to work a lot of overtime.

    Advice to Management

Consider the needs of your employees and not just yourself.

I worked at LinkUs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overall there are no pros to this company. You will make decent money, but at the cost of 70+ hour work weeks and being thought of as nothing more than a set of numbers.

    Cons

Long hours, poor morals, high turnover, poor management, poor communication, deceit about competitive wages and benefits.

    Advice to Management

Management will not address any concerns that you may have regarding safety, your "competitive" pay, or "amazing" benefits.

Current Employee - Installer in Roseburg, OR

    Pros

You get good training and the potenetial to make a lot of money. I have had thousand dollar weeks before. Depending on which office you work out of it can be a good job but demanding.

    Cons

Your pay is not hourly its by the job. Its on a point scale and yourpaid so much a point starting out is usually $2.50 a point and they figure 6 points an hour you can work up to $3.50 a point but its hard. Thier are lots of things that are not in your control that can make your per point amount go up or down.

    Pros

Thhe company pays okay.. it gets better with time if you show them that youre worth your price. So as long as you work hard your could be making 800$ a week

    Cons

They always want your to be perfect. not everyone is a robot and they need to accept that people are not energetic 100% of the time every single day
