I have been working at LinkedIn full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Full of good people who want to do good work. Excellent executive leadership.

    Cons

Highly dynamic - lots of change all the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Tune into needs of layers beneath executive. It seems like many were brought in when company was still defining itself and while good are not consistently world class nor the quality LinkedIn would attract today.

I worked at LinkedIn as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

LinkedIn has a great mentorship program, excellent food (three meals a day), and an amazingly transparent culture. Monthly hackathons give you the opportunity to have fun building cool stuff, and if you're an intern there are events every couple weeks. For full-times also, there are outings to events such as chili cook-offs, skiing, golfing, etc.

    Cons

HR and Payroll can at times be slow to respond, and if you aren't careful, it is very easy to pack a few extra pounds from all the free food available to you.
