Current Employee – been working at Linn Energy
Pros – People I work with and location
Cons – non recognition of achievments, lack of opportunity for advancing, politics in every area.
Advice to Senior Management – Everyone makes a difference, recognize that you have quality personnel that work hard and are wanting to succeed.

Former Employee – worked at Linn Energy
Pros – The people (who are not in upper management) are easy to work with. Benefits are average but better than most. One of the things people liked was the 9/80 schedule Linn offered. From what I heard, stock and bonuses given out was a very fair amount to everyone regardless of the position.
Cons – If you are not a previous employee of Burlington Resources or play the office political games, you will never excel in this company. Many people were ousted because they did not fit the criteria above. There are a bunch of great and talented individuals who have left the company (on their own) because of this intoxicating environment. This company would be a great place to work if Linn management changed their demeanor and their ideals.
Advice to Senior Management – Quit playing office politics....the company will be destroyed in the future if this continues and hard working employees will lose their jobs.

Cons – The company has acquired numerous properties over the past year and half and some parts of management don't fully understand what it takes to implement all aspects of the acquisition into a cohesive company.
