Current Employee – been working at Littelfuse full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Decent pay, good benefits, enjoy my fellow workers
Cons – Emotional and reactive management is nerve racking, makes the job stressful. Some have drinking "issues" that effect their work. I mean, when your boss talks to you and smells like a wino after a night out I think you have a problem... Just sayin
Advice to Senior Management – Be more professional

Current Employee – been working at Littelfuse
Pros – Even though they have had a high rate of turnover, the company has kept a small group of key personnel around that makes the environment tolerable.
Cons – To be honest, the main con is the lack of understanding in what they want for their environment. as opposed to what they actually need.
Advice to Senior Management – The advice I would give would be to trust the technical advice given to them. Just because something works in one environment, it may network the same in yours.

Former Employee – worked at Littelfuse
Pros – A paycheck and your vacation.
Cons – Mgmt converted a section of salaried employees to hourly, bought them all laptop computers and had them logged in from home working at night, weekends and docking their time cards if they reported what they were doing honestly. Why? Salaried employees receive bonuses, hourly do not. I hope every bonus earned by every mgr for the last 3 years has been produced as a result of reducing the size of the pie, or number of people eligible, while working the loyal employees the same number of hours and paying them less. After all, a CEO has to figure out how to provide himself and his management team with more than 2 million in compensation or he won't be earning his keep?
Advice to Senior Management – Remember who is earning your bonus for you and if you wish to make rules for your employees, follow them in 100% of the cases - not just where it will line your pockets with more of the green stuff.

Former Employee – worked at Littelfuse
Pros – It's a small company, so you have the ability to get to know nearly everyone you work with. International experience is almost definite. SAP has bolstered their business and allowed them to streamline their processes. They're an acquisition company, so there's opportunity to expand into other roles if you stay long enough.
Cons – It seems like they have relatively high turnover due, perhaps, to running too lean? The workload is significant and has the potential to cause burn-out.
Advice to Senior Management – Mr. Hunter is a focused CEO and knows how to drive results. I sense that many US-based employees feel a sense of insecurity due to outsourcing initiatives and manufacturing operations that are becoming increasingly focused on Asia-Pacific. I would recommend that Littelfuse consider bolstering its benefits if it wants to continue to attract top-talent in the US.

Former Employee – worked at Littelfuse
Pros – Good salary, and benefits (while I was there),
Good flex time,
Cons – After Gordon had his way, It was only numbers, numbers. This company used to be a family oriented company, and now top managers care about their stock and shareholders. Employees are like trash cans and can be thrown out with little or no regard.
Advice to Senior Management – Care more about your employees customers, and you will make much more $
Your priority should be 1) Customers 2) Workers 3) Suppliers 4) shareholders
By following this, you will make more money and your stock will grow...
