A profitable company that doesn't care much for it's employees

Assistant Manager (Former Employee)
Livonia, MI

I worked at Little Caesar's part-time for more than 3 years

Pros-Works with your schedule, be it school or another job.
-Eating expired product

Cons-Assistant managers only make $8.50, with raises coming few and far between. Considering we did most of the work in the store, it's total nonsense.
-Managers that over prep product, and then let it sit around until it got used.
-Unfairness to non-smokers, who don't get several breaks during their shift.
-Too many ways of doing things.
-While speed is important, people focused solely on that and their product came out looking and tasting awful.

Advice to Senior ManagementTo the upper management/corporate: You need to connect with your employees more and get to know them. Compensate your employees better, make them feel like they are irreplaceable.

You will never be happy here

Assistant Manager (Former Employee)
Lancaster, OH

I worked at Little Caesar's part-time for more than 3 years

ProsI met some cool people and shifts were usually fun.

ConsMy store manager has some of the worst traits a manager can have: he is lazy,he barks orders at his crew and belittles or talks down to them in front of customers, he is completely inconsistent, and shows no appreciation for hard work and dedication.I worked there for almost 4 years and the entire corporate structure is designed for the managers, with no regard for assistants or crew. I felt like nothing more than a warm body.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe a leader! Lead by example...my manager expected everyone else to perform while he sat playing on his phone. Also, express appreciation for those who go the extra mile, despite making very little money and getting no benefits. Also, make yourself available. If your employees don't feel comfortable talking to you about concerns they have, it will make them stressed and angry, and you will find yourself losing staff left and right. Just ask my old boss!
