Pros
Its a family owned and orientated company. It is consistenly growing and offering key employees internal promotion. Benefits are good for the Store Mgr. And if you build a strong team, treat all employees with dignity and respect the store morale is high and it can be alot of fun. an extended family of sorts. Many Senior Staff have started their careers in a store a crew level.
And Corporate Stores are beginning to be brought into the computer age...
Cons
Pay is on the low scale for managment for what is required with the position. There is not one Corporate Store with a dedicated place for the Mgmnt to complete required paperwork (done by pen and paper - no computers) only a few stores have big back rooms with tables for training. Paperwork is completed @ most phones stations - doesn't say alot on how Company views and trusts its Mgrs.
And there is much room for improvement from Support Field Staff and Supervisors in the areas of training, employee relations and accountability. Especially when it comes to consistency of implementing and enforcing Company Policies and Procedures. Consistency lacks severely and is influenced @ times not by the precedents set prior, but by underlying agendas and who you are (or know) and who likes you or doesn't. Not good practice.
Advice to Senior Management
Senior Managment needs to hold Support Staff and Supervisors accountable to ensure Consistency is followed and is a priority. Supervisors are the key to the stores and their teams and there is nothing in place besides Reviews and Store Success or lack there of that makes Supervisors accountable...there is no consistency: Example - Supervisor # 1 - It's ok to work 45 hrs providing the Store is successful and properly run, Supervisor #2 - you must work 10 hours everyday - no exceptions. Supervisor # 1 - you must punch in and out everday for breaks when working 7.5 hours or more. Supervisor #2 - just make sure you write yourself in for required breaks. (that rarely a mgr ever really takes) Supervisor #2 then writes-up non favorable Mgrs for writing his break in on time card, but not the Mgr. he favors...
Senior Staff should do surveys or similar project bi-anually to be given to the people who live and breathe the store everyday...the crew and mgmnt up to Co-Mgr. Im sure this would enlighten them to multitudes of areas that need improvement and occur on an everyday basis. And last - Store Crew and Mgrs up to Asst get No recognition at all in addition to minimum wages, and are the silent giants behind most of Little Caesars Success. . please acknowledge them in some well deserved ways...often

Advice to Senior Management
Only speaking for the Detroit market, it would be beneficial to rework your labor matrix to fit not only the demands of the position but the customer flow as well. Encourage area supervisors not to deal with conflicts preemptively. Expand the opportunities for advancement beyond the store management level.
