    Pros

    The company have employees working there some for over 20 years. Very dedicated.

    Cons

    No real room for growth.

    Advice to Management

    Look within first instead of hiring outside employees.

    Pros

    The positive impact you have within the families lives you are serving. Being a support system for the parents, and interacting with the children.

    Cons

    Lack of training, these are people's lives, adequate training should be provided, unappreciative of social workers, burn out .

    Advice to Management

    Develop a better company culture, do not belittle your employees, or have them responsible for tasks that should be completed by upper management .Management should really take the time to obtain and develop as supervisors. Telling your workers that theyre irreplaceable, when you havent been an effective leader or provided guidance.

    You develop a sense of what you don't want to do for the rest of your life.

    The work becomes overwhelming and unforgiving very fast.

    In the long run, there are none.

    Cons

    Management hides behind the founder's vision of FAMILY, but when it comes down to it they will chew you up and spit you out.

    Pros

    Their benefits package... especially vacation time is very ample. Some supervisors are able to treat staff in a humane way.

    Cons

    Demoralizing, lack of respect for employees, dishonesty with staff, ineffective labor union, lack of integrity among managers, no discernible path to advance...advancement not based on education, ability or experience but on favoritism and possibly other factors relating to demographics...chaotic and stressful, extremely dis-empowering.

    Advice to Management

    Select candidates with experience who meet educational requirements for management positions. Provide education for current managers without these pre-requisites with mandatory training that will give them the tools to lead effectively. This will reduce the incidences of abuse of power. Put quality controls in place for managerial staff. Identify and implement viable methods for staff to become empowered. This will improve emloyee relations, reduce employee burnout, employee turnover and anxiety.

    Pros

    You have the opportunity to improve the lives of children and watch them grow and change for the positive.

    Cons

    Very top heavy and the majority of the work load is put on the caseworker, no time for lunch, many demands by children and administration. No praise for a job well done. Low pay for caseworkers very high pay for supervisors and directors. Caseworkers do more work.

    stop thinking about profit this is a non for profit.

    management are flexible
    relaxed work environment
    good amt. of vacation, holidays, sick time, and personal time.

    Cons

    alot of paperwork
    can be very disorganized at times.
    no good managers everyone is a boss.
    everyone does what ever they want without consequence
    no tuition reimbursement, no room for growth
    have to pay for health insurance

    Advice to Management

    To do away with alot of redudant paperwork
    hire extra staff member to assist data entry, documentation
