    Hot boring expect too much out of you too fast

    Give people more time to train and just maybe your turn over won't be so bad being there 12 hours also is to long also 8 hours and volentary over time is enough

    Pros

    Some really great people, could be a great place so much potential.

    Cons

    Little Tikes is Battle ground between parent company MGA and Little Tikes. Fundamental differences in direction cause anger resentment and a negative environment at LT. A small group of people at LT are the root of problems and create a horrible atmosphere. Gossip, backbiting, undermining, twisting truths, dramatizing situations. Lack of time for projects, poor work flow, no process, high pressure, very little positive support, poor communication.....get the picture?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Really evaluate what is going on and look at who is the root of the problems. Build a team of excited motivated people then support them. Give them tools, encouragement, time, training, and empower them to be their best.

    Pros

    The design office is attached directly with the manufacturing plant and model making shop. Allows for great accessibility to model making processes.

    Cons

    The office building is out dated and RD library is disorganized.

    Company is unraveling by the minute, run by MGA Entertainment who does not have any concern for it's employees.

    Pros

    Immediate co-workers are great people.

    Cons

    Extremely unorganized. Everyone is wondering on a day to day basis who will be fired next. Huge lack of communication between all departments. Facilities are a mess. MGA Entertainment is constantly re-structuring with out any warning, preventing any substantial work to ever get done. Company could fall apart any moment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take a moment to care about your employees. Provide organizational methods to better communicate between departments. If company structure was reorganized this could be a great company again.

    I have been working at Little Tikes

    Pros

    The coworkers within my department are amazing. It was a joy to come work every day and interact with everyone. I was able to gain vast amounts of knowledge in many different areas.

    Cons

    The company as a whole is dramatically understaffed and the employees are often required to work outside of their normal scope of practice. The compensation is far below industry standards and the exorbitantly high health insurance cost, lack of 401K matching and almost non-existent vacation time make the benefits almost not worth it. Upper management/MGA is greatly detached from Little Tikes and is often unwilling to listen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Become better advocates for your employees. Little Tikes can be a strong brand for MGA; trust that your employees want to see it succeed just as much as you do.
